The Capuchin Church dedicated to Our Lady of the Angels, is as befits a Mendicant Order vowed to poverty, modest, sober and almost totally lacking in ornamentation. Nothing visible reminds us that it was founded by an empress in 1618. the most precious work of art in the church is a “Pieta” near the altar in the right-hand transept. It is by Peter von Strudel, the Founder of the Academy of Fine Arts.
